How to apply for a Blue Card
All applications can now be done online, via the following
steps:
- Have
a customer reference
number (CRN) from the Queensland Department of Transport and Main
Roads (TMR)
- Register
for an account online.
You will need a form of identification (i.e. Driver's Licence) in order to
complete registration.
- Apply
for your blue or exemption card using the online applicant portal.
- Once
registered, you will receive an email with an account number.
Please provide this account number AND your DOB by
logging into the club website and updating the My details screen and also
emailing us to advise as to the purpose you are needing a blue card (e.g. to
become a coach) to our Secretary,
who will link your account to the Club.
If your account is not linked to the club, you will not be
able to apply for the free Blue Card for volunteers and may end up paying a
fee.
5. Once linked by the club, you will be able to
continue your registration for a volunteer Blue Card in the portal.
